Prince of Peace Clothing Bank Located in the lower level in the rear of the Church of the Nativity building on the dates and times indicated below. WE WILL BE OPEN EACH MONTH FOR PEOPLE IN NEED. CURRENTLY ACCEPTING AT THIS TIME: Recently washed/gently used spring and summer clothing for all. Please NO DRY CLEAN ONLY. Gently used washable spring and summer jackets/coats. This includes hoodies, which are always in demand. Men’s' jeans plus sweatshirts and sweat pants for all sizes and genders. We also have an urgent need for socks: Boys' sizes 6 - 14, Girls' sizes 6-14, Men’s' and Women’s' sizes S, M, L and XL New packaged underwear is in constant demand; all sizes for boys, girls and adults. AND Gently used, recently washed towels and/or sheets/sheet sets are needed. The twin and full size sheets will be donated to St Vincent DePaul shelter in Waterbury. Let us come together as a community of faith to celebrate A Prince of Peace Festival of Prayer Sunday, October 23, 1 to 4 pm @ Father Shellman Hall, Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem We will gather in fellowship for a light meal and then share an exploration of our call to prayer, the different paths to prayer, and the many ways in which prayer forms our lives as disciples. Parish Men’s Club meeting Oct. 26 Our parish Men’s Club will hold its monthly meeting and Oktoberfest dinner on Wednesday evening, October 26, in Seidel Hall at St. Teresa’s Church. Members and guests will gather for a social hour beginning at 6 p.m., with an Oktoberfest-theme meal and business meeting following at 7 p.m. All men of the parish are invited to join us!
