  Our Campaign is UNDERWAY!
  Again this year, Prince of Peace Parish has joined in this activity with other parishes in the Archdiocese.
  40 Days for Life is a pro-life, pro-woman community based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism.
  The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity and repentance to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion in America. This year’s campaign started on Wednesday, September 26th and concludes on November 4th.
  The 40 Days for Life campaign is firmly rooted on a foundation of prayer and fasting. To help maintain focus on the Lord and stay in tune with His guidance, each weekend, copies of a new devotional will be available at both churches. Please take one home with you to guide you and your family in pray during the week. We fervently believe that prayer and fasting will end abortion, and your prayers will be very much needed and appreciated. Also as part of our prayer work here, Prince of Peace Parish will be having a special Eucharistic Adoration service at St. Teresa on Sunday, November 11th, from 2-5PM.
  Pray and sacrifice works. Through day 12 of the campaign, 94 unborn children have been saved from death by abortion. Personal prayer and sacrifice do make a difference.
  Our prayer for today is…
  Heavenly Father, give us love for all people, especially the most vulnerable, and help us bear witness to the truth that every life is worth living.
